Save the Planet - Open Doors is a youth-run federally incorporated environmental non profit based in Canada. We were founded in 2015 but federally incorporated in 2019. Since our beginning, we have accomplished many local, provincial and national goals and started several initiatives which are incredibly close to implementation. We are supported by dozens of individuals and organizations and have a volunteer and impact reach of over 14.5 million people which our initiatives.

A bit about our founder and Director
Aryan Gautam is the youngest Founder & Director of Federally Incorporated Environmental Non-Profit Organization in Canada. He is the youngest member of Ontario Nature Youth Council, the Youth Director of Mississauga Climate Action, Administrative member of the Mississauga-Lakeshore Constituency Youth Council, a member of the Credit Valley Conservation Frontline Program, co-operating activist for Indigenous organizations Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters and Eco-Spirits. He has dedicated 10,000 volunteer hours working with many organizations and people to cast a change in his community; devoting his time in spreading awareness towards climate change, philanthropy and environmentalism. His accomplishments include receiving letters of appreciation and a leadership badge from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his contribution to the Liberal Party. His community work was published by news articles and various magazines for his efforts. Aryan was the youngest to be awarded the Community Leadership Award from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and MP Sven Spengemann in 2019 for his dedication and efforts towards community. In 2021, Aryan was recognized with the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts – The Diana Award.
Sidharth Gautam - Director
Sidharth Gautam, a Pre-Med Life Sciences student at McMaster University, is a passionate advocate for both the environment and healthcare. As the Medical Officer and Director of Save the Planet - Open Doors, he actively contributes to environmental conservation. Sidharth is also a Co-Founder and Senior Manager at Killbit (KILB), demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit. His role as a Bee City Canada Ambassador underscores his commitment to biodiversity, and he generously volunteers at Ida Pharmacies, showing his dedication to community well-being. Sidharth's multifaceted engagement in academia, environmentalism, entrepreneurship, and community service reflects his desire to create a positive impact on various fronts.
